How to reach us
The A la Commedia Hotel you may either
use the water transport (either private or
public) or have a pleasant walk through the
centre following the numerous sign posts to
Rialto.

translations in order to better understand the
street names and directions that you'll always

Arriving by CAR
If you come by car you can choose to park either
in the two main Garages (Autorimessa Comunale or
Garage San Marco) in Piazzale Roma or in the
Garage in the Island called Tronchetto . From
both terminals you can catch a private water
taxi (15 mins) or the ACTV public waterbus
(Vaporetto) line 1 or 82 direction Rialto -
Vallaresso (San Marco) and get off at the stop
Rialto going along the Grand Canal. We suggest
you to take line 1 leaving from Piazzale Roma.

From the stop of RIALTO (line 82)
Just off the waterbus stop turn right and walk
along the Grand Canal
After 20 metres , cross the small bridge
10 metres ahead on you right there is the
Waterbus stop of Line 1
From the stop of RIALTO (line 1)
Just off the waterbus stop turn right and walk
along the Grand Canal
After 50 metres turn left into CALLE DEL CARBON
20 METRES AHEAD THERE IS THE HOTEL A LA COMMEDIA

Arriving by AIRPLANE
From Venice's International Marco Polo
airport (VCE)
On leaving Venice's International Marco Polo
airport (VCE) , take a walk to the
marina/darsena where you can catch a water taxi
(30 mins.) to Rialto Municipal dock (CA'FARSETTI)
or the public waterbus ALILAGUNA (1 hour and 10
mins) and get off at San Marco / Vallaresso from
where, printing our map you may follow the
instructions to reach the Hotel (10 mins) .
We highly suggest you to take a private water
taxi especially in case of heavy luggages. |

With a water taxi you could experience the
thrill of cruising along the Grand Canal and ,
above all, get off just a few steps from the
Hotel entrance.
From Treviso International airport (TSF)
For those landing at Treviso International
airport (TSF), you will firstly need to either
catch a car taxi (30 mins.) or an ATVO - EUROBUS
to Venice Piazzale Roma Terminal (1 hour) and
then from the terminal you can catch a water
taxi (15 mins) or the ACTV public waterbus line
1 or 82 direction Rialto -Vallaresso (San Marco)
and get off at the stop of Rialto along the
Grand Canal.
We suggest you to take line 1.

From the stop of ALILAGUNA (Vallaresso - San
Marco)
Just off the ALILAGUNA stop walk straight and
take CALLE VALLARESSO up to the end
Then turn left and right and follow FREZZARIA
lane until CALLE TRON
Turn right and 10 metres ahead, at a canal, turn
left
Keep the small canal on your right and walk on
the FONDAMENTA ORSEOLO
Cross a bridge called GOLDONI and keep walk
straight in CALLE GOLDONI
50 metres ahead you'll reach a square called
CAMPO SAN LUCA
Take CALLE DEL FORNO and you'll be able to see
the Hotel Panel and entrance
Arriving by TRAIN
On leaving Venice's Santa Lucia Railway Station
you can either catch a water taxi (15 mins.) or
the public ACTV waterbus line 1 or 82, direction
Rialto - Vallaresso (San Marco) and get off at
the stop Rialto along the Grand Canal.
We suggest you to take line number 1.
